Sauteed Tofu & Tempeh and Steamed Asparagus




This is a super easy and quick Indonesian inspired dish! :)

Ingredients:
- asparagus
- 1/2 cup of long grain brown basmati rice
- 2 oz tempeh
- 2 oz of tofu
- 2 garlic cloves,minced
- minced onion
- 1 tsp of ABC medium soy sauce or 1/2 tbsp of low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of chilli paste (optional)
- fresh lemon (lemon juice)
- sea salt
- 1tsp of olive oil
- 2tsp of sesame oil

Rice:
I used a rice cooker, it makes life so much easier! :) Each brand normally has their own instructions so make sure to follow that! Or your rice will come out funny!

Tempeh & Tofu
1. heat up olive oil and sesame oil
2. throw in onions and garlic
3. add in tofu and tempeh
4. add in soy sauce, chilli paste (optional)
5. stir ahead! (for approx 5-7 minutes) 

Asparagus
- Squeeze the lemons on the asparagus and salt to taste, steam it for 10 minutes!
